A safari with the spectacular White-tailed Eagle gives you unique opportunities to experience the largest bird in Denmark closer than you can imagine. 2.4 meters of wing catcher glides past us at a distance of between 20 and 100 meters. We can experience anything from 2 to 30 individuals flying by, and it is an epic experience of the rare, which the gallery can visually document.

Eagle-safaris are carried out every day all year round on Fanoe from 2 hours before sunset. Because the weather constantly changes every single day with wind strength and direction, there is no calendar in the same way as for Seal Safaris. The Eagles are very mobile, and therefore they fly into an optimal route from foraging to overnight.

An Eagle-safari lasts 2 hours and costs DKK 200 (30 €) per participant. DKK 25 (4 €) for children under 14 years accompanied by parents / grandparents. Cash is paid on location. You start by sending an sms/text-message to +45 20 10 87 17 with registration of date numbers.

The meeting place is then indicated in the reply text message, because it changes every day due to wind strength and direction.

Precisely because Eagle-safaris are an autumn, winter and spring activity, very warm clothes and of course binoculars and cameras are recommended. We stand completely still most of the time, which is why it is not a super activity for dogs and small children, but to that extent for experience-ready young people and adults. The footwear is just ordinary hiking shoes, or what you wear in the woods and dunes.
